Role Overview
SYNCOMS is scaling its AI capabilities toward high-impact, production-ready systems across multiple business areas and markets.
We are looking for a hands-on AI Team Lead who will drive execution, global coordination, workflow design, and delivery across multiple AI initiatives. This role requires someone who can combine technical understanding with strong coordination and process thinking, ensuring fast, structured, and measurable output.
You will work directly with the Head of AI and Company Director, with a strong emphasis on daily reporting, accountability, and delivery visibility across all projects.
Core Objective
To ensure fast, structured, and scalable delivery of AI-driven workflows and systems, by focusing on:
- Global coordination across teams.
- Daily execution tracking and reporting.
- Workflow design and process optimisation .
- Rapid MVP development and iteration .
- Efficient use of modern AI/LLM tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Global Coordination (Critical Focus):
- Act as the central coordination point across teams in:
- Ensure daily alignment on all projects and tasks.
- Follow up continuously to maintain progress and deadlines.
- Identify and resolve delays, inefficiencies, and blockers.
- Maintain clear communication across time zones.
Daily Reporting & Execution Tracking (Core Requirement):
- Provide daily reporting directly to the Company Director, including:
- Status of each project.
- Task-level progress.
- Risks, blockers, and delays.
- Track:
- Team output.
- Delivery timelines.
- Performance improvements.
- Ensure full visibility and accountability across all ongoing projects.
Workflow Design & Process Optimisation:
- Design and improve AI-driven workflows across marketing and business operations.
- Continuously optimise processes to improve:
- Speed.
- Efficiency.
- Output quality.
- Architect workflows that can scale across multiple regions and high user volumes.
- Focus on practical execution over theoretical design.
Rapid MVP Development:
- Design and support MVP (Minimum Viable Product) builds within 1 week timelines.
- Ensure quick turnaround from concept to working solution.
- Iterate rapidly based on feedback and performance.
AI Systems & LLM Utilisation:
- Support implementation and optimisation of:
- AI/ML systems.
- LLM-based workflows and tools.
- Ensure use of the most suitable and up-to-date models for performance and efficiency.
- Contribute to:
- Model fine-tuning.
- RAG-based workflows (basic level).
- Performance monitoring and improvements.
Product Readiness & Deployment Support:
- Assist in moving solutions into production-ready environments
- Support:
- API integrations
- Testing and validation
- Deployment workflows
- Ensure solutions are usable, scalable, and business-ready
Team Supervision:
- Guide and coordinate junior AI engineers.
- Assign tasks and ensure timely completion.
- Maintain:
- Code quality.
- Structured workflows.
- Delivery discipline.
Candidate Profile:
Experience:
- 2–5 years in AI/ML, automation, or technical systems.
- Experience in workflow design, process optimisation, or system delivery.
- Exposure to team coordination or supervisory responsibilities preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Understanding of:
- AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow – basic to intermediate).
- LLMs and AI tools (practical usage).
- APIs and deployment workflows.
- Familiarity with:
- Automation tools.
- Data pipelines and basic MLOps.

- Strong coordination and follow-up ability.
- Excellent reporting discipline and accountability.
- Ability to design and optimise workflows and processes.

Performance Expectations (First 6 Months):
- Establish daily reporting discipline across all projects.

- Deliver rapid MVPs (within ~1 week cycles where applicable).

- Support multiple AI systems reaching production-ready stage.
