We are looking for an exceptionally organised, commercially aware, and ambitious Group Management Accountant to become a key part of our finance and operational leadership structure in Dubai.
This is a high-impact role offering direct exposure to the Group CEO, international operations, and strategic financial management. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the financial discipline, reporting structure, operational efficiency, and accounting integrity of the Group.

The Role
As the Group Management Accountant, you will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of multiple companies under Syncoms Group, ensuring financial accuracy, reporting integrity, reconciliation control, cash flow visibility, and operational support across the business.
You will work closely with the CEO and London Head Office to ensure smooth financial operations, accurate management reporting, and strong accounting controls throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Management Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for Group management and Head Office.
- Produce:
- Profit & Loss reports
- Balance Sheet schedules
- Cash flow reports
- Variance analysis
- Financial performance summaries
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Assist senior management with financial analysis and operational reporting.
Reconciliation & Ledger Management
- Perform and maintain:
- Bank reconciliations
- General Ledger (GL) reconciliations
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Customer account reconciliations
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, unreconciled transactions, and ledger variances.
- Ensure accounting records remain accurate, complete, and audit-ready at all times.
Accounts Payable & Receivable Control
- Maintain accurate records of:
- Vendor invoices
- Supplier payments
- Customer receipts
- Payroll transactions
- Operational expenses
- Petty cash
- Monitor debtor and creditor ageing reports.
- Ensure all suppliers, employees, and operational commitments are paid accurately and on time.
- Support credit control and receivables monitoring.
Operational Finance Management
- Monitor day-to-day cash flow activities and provide visibility to management.
- Coordinate payment runs and ensure smooth movement of funds across business operations.
- Maintain communication with Head Office regarding financial movements, payroll, and operational spending.
- Support internal financial controls and operational compliance procedures.
Banking & Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with local and international banking institutions regarding account operations and financial transactions.
- Support banking documentation and transaction management.
- Work directly with the CEO and senior management on operational finance matters and reporting requirements.
Compliance & Regulatory Responsibilities
- Liaise with UAE regulatory authorities, including:
- Federal Tax Authority (FTA)
- VAT compliance departments
- Corporate tax authorities
- Assist with VAT returns, financial compliance, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with UAE accounting regulations and internal governance standards.
Candidate Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in:
- Management Accounting
- Financial Accounting
- Financial Reporting
- Reconciliation & Ledger Management
- Operational Finance
- Cash Flow Monitoring
Technical Skills
Strong practical knowledge of:
- Management accounts preparation
- General Ledger (GL) accounting
- Bank reconciliation procedures
- AP & AR processes
- Financial reporting and month-end close
- Sage Accounting Software
- Sage 50 / Sage Business Cloud
- Modern ERP/accounting systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- UAE VAT & Corporate Tax procedures
